This is a courtesy translation. The app and its provider are based in Germany; in case of any discrepancy the German version is legally authoritative. Statutory references are to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Stavros PetropoulosThe app stores settings (e.g. player name, chosen mini-games, language), game statistics (matches, wins, best reaction time, online wins) and the “Remove ads” purchase status exclusively on your device. This data does not leave your device and is removed when you delete the app.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (provision of the app's functions).
The app shows ads via Google AdMob, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). A banner appears in the main menu and an interstitial ad after a match ends.
On first launch the app asks for your consent via Google's consent platform (UMP). Personalised ads (incl. access to the advertising ID/IDFA via the iOS tracking dialog) are only served with your consent; otherwise non-personalised ads are shown. You can withdraw your consent at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking in iOS.
Data may be transferred to the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply in addition.

The purchase is handled entirely through the Apple App Store (StoreKit). We receive no payment or account data; Apple merely confirms the purchase status to the app, which is stored locally. After purchase no further ad-SDK requests are made.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract). Apple's privacy policy applies in addition.
You can optionally sign in to Apple's gaming service Game Center. In that case the app uses your Game Center nickname as your player name and submits the number of your online wins to the Game Center leaderboard. Game Center is operated by Apple as its own controller; Apple's Game Center privacy notice applies. The app is fully usable without signing in to Game Center.

For online matches the app connects to our game server
(reactor.staris.services). The following is processed:
This data is processed in memory solely to run the current match and is not stored permanently; it is discarded when the match or connection ends. There is no evaluation for advertising or analytics purposes.
Server location/hosting: Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany; data centre in Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the host.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (running the online game).
If you run your own game server on your home network, iOS asks once for the “Local Network” permission. No data is transmitted to us in that case.
The app uses no analytics, crash-reporting or tracking services of its own. We create no usage profiles.
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
An informal email to sp@staris.services is sufficient to exercise these rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority for the controller is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.
Note: as the app itself stores no personal data permanently, access and erasure requests regarding advertising data can be directed to Google (see section 4) and Game Center data to Apple (section 6); we are happy to assist.
The app is not specifically directed at children under 16. Personalised ads are only served after consent via the consent dialog; without consent ads remain non-personalised.
We update this privacy policy when the app's functions or the legal situation change. The current version is linked in the app and available at this address.
